My Recent Beauty Find!

Helloooooooooo everyone!
I am so happy that exams are officially over (even though my last paper was... pretty screwed) BUT it's time to play and REALLY ENJOY myself till April! Okay so to cut to the chase!

If you follow me on Twitter (if you haven't, please do! @jlshwithlove), you would know that my bestie and I recently tried - on 18 Feb to be exact - one of the most amazing and cheapest face wash method ever, and what is it?

OATMEAL FACE WASH.

You've seen that right! And maybe it's not surprising to some of you 'cause oatmeal is indeed one of the common ingredients in many face washes or scrubs. But no I'm not gonna talk about any particular brand or facial product! But instead, the oatmeal, ALONE.

So this is how regular oatmeal looks like, as we know it. But did you ever know that this can be used to exfoliate, clean, soften, moisturize, and brighten your skin? I'm going to show you a video from one of my all-time favourite Youtube guru!

I can't adjust the size of this video so it's really small, but you can always click on the header of the video to watch it on Youtube! So whatever she did is exactly what I've been doing, and TRUST HER WHEN SHE SAID IT'S REALLY MESSY, BECAUSE IT'S S-U-P-E-R MESSY. But like she said, the benefits of oatmeal really makes up for all the messiness! If you wanna know, I don't do this every single day, 'cause I still love my usual facial cleansers. However, I try to do this every 2 or 3 days in the morning!

Yes this is me and my silly bestie.
(Hi babe, you still look cute with no makeup on. LOVE!)

If you are also interested in knowing what oatmeal I use, it just looks like this:

I'm sure you can find this at any NTUC or other grocery stores.
So stop reading and go give this a try!
I really hope this post has helped you guys in one way of another!

Now I've to go pack my lugguge 'cause fatty and I bought tickets to GENTING!!!
We're going off next week and we'll be staying for 3 nights instead of our previous 3D2N! We bought our coach + hotel package for S$123 by the way, if you'd like to know. And we purchased them from GRASSLAND! It's S$88 for 3D2N, then we added one more night so we have to top up S$50 (which means S$25 per person) for one hotel night, and another S$10 for a one-way coach upgrade! CHEAP OR WHAAAAAAT. Another company was like selling for S180+ if I'm not wrong!
SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
AND YES I'M GONNA PACK NOW!

P/S: I came across this Youtube guru yesterday and I IMMEDIATELY love her after watching just 1 video of hers! She's called  and she's so cool! Don't believe? WATCH:

Hope you like her as much as I do, and if you do, please subscribe to her!
I've been watching her videos since last night and for the past few hours hahaha.

God bless everyone!

I think I'm a superwoman

I have been awake since 5pm on 19 Feb. It's 21 Feb 3.25am now.
34 hours of no sleep, BUT I CAN'T FALL ASLEEP.
I honestly think I'm suffering from insomnia or something.
How I wish there's easy access to sleeping pills.

But then again, let go and let God.
May He bless my health regardless.

This coming Thursday marks the end of my exam = A GOOD LONG BREAK. I REALLY NEED THAT! And hopefully all goes well and I'll be able to go WWW and play with the fun slide on Friday! In the mean time, I hope everyone's safe and warm and happy now. :)

A beautiful memory

Despite all the tiredness, frustration, pressure and stress that I had been feeling for the past few weeks, all of it paid off and I couldn't be more grateful. The ending work of the musical was so successful, I'm so proud of everyone for all that they've done; wonderful dancers, rapper, backstage crew, AV team... Nobody screwed up, everything went so smoothly. And then there was the Pitch It! Competition. Those few who helped me in the voting, I'm honestly grateful to all of you! My group won 3rd so that's $300 for us; we're more than happy with that! :)

I used to think my poly life was pathetic 'cause I literally did nothing which I myself could be proud of, no achievements, nothing. This musical and the Pitch It! really mean a lot to me 'cause completing these two challenges would mean they're the two major achievements that I've made in Ngee Ann Poly. This is what I get when I was so freaking lazy and useless and lazy when I was in Year 1. So I guess I really have BZSE Celebrations 2012 to be thankful for.

No use regretting and telling myself that I should have studied harder and be more active in Year 1, isn't it? I've been through that stage; cried buckets of tears 'cause I kept thinking I was so useless and that I had no achievements. Regret is one thing, but learning from those tears is another. Honestly I wanted to give up on the musical and the pitch. I'm a sucker for exhaustion (don't even know how the hell I managed to survived Military Band SYF?! With my heavy snaredrum and all somemore... Amazing) and I couldn't stand the tiredness. But God, thank You for giving me the strength and helping me to overcome my weaknesses. In a blink of an eye, BZSE Celebrations 2012 is o-v-e-r.

It's really funny how I wanted BZSE Celebrations to be over so badly, but when it finally ended, I miss the musical so much. Miss staying back with everyone to rehearse. Miss feeling like I've bonded with a few people a little more. Miss hearing those sweet encouragement in the backstage when I was fucking nervous just before showtime. Miss... everything.

And I can't help but feel sad to know that about 2 months from now, my class will be reduced to half 'cause the other half will be going on internship. Sigh.

A Big Thank You

Brindabella from shopaholicsforlife35 purchased a couple of things from me a few days ago. When I passed by her selling site today, I was totally surprised to see her latest post; it completely made my day. She was such a friendly and easy-going buyer that I enjoyed dealing with her so much. I recommend everyone of you who chance upon this post to check out her selling site as well. If she can be that nice of a buyer, I'm extremely certain she can be that nice of a seller too. :)

Friendly buyers definitely bring about friendly sellers.

Regardless of the number of buyers whom have purchased from me, I will always be appreciative of those who are friendly, easy-going, reasonable, and most importantly, understanding. And there have been a number of buyers who are like that; thankful to all of them for making this selling shyt easier for me!

And for those of you who have been checking my blog for updates, I'm really sorry for the disappointment. Musical is happening on 9 Feb 2012 which means we're left with 4 days till the showcase! HAVE TO REACH SCHOOL AT 9AM FOR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT... CAN SOMEONE JUST KILL ME NOW.

Sigh. Endurance.

Have a blessed week, everyone!
